We’re obsessed with sandwiches. It’s such a simple idea – stack some meat, cheese and vegetables between two slices of bread, add some sauce and you’ve got yourself a sandwich. And maybe it’s just that plain sandwich that you put on your backpack to eat later in the day. But maybe, in some special places and occasions, it’s a though-out, time-tested combination of delicious ingredients that just make perfect sense together. Where else in the world of food can you feel crunchiness, freshness, greasiness, … in a single bite?
As we travel around the world, we are always looking to taste the best sandwiches – those that make locals salivate.
Here are the top 10 best sandwiches we ever had
- Sweet & Spicy Chicken Schnitzel Sandwich at Daughter’s Deli, Los Angeles, USA

Note: Burgers are not considered here because they are worth their own post!
